I am so tired right now... so please forgive me for any grammar or spelling errors. I finished upgrading ouradopt.com software on Saturday. And I have been fixing various issues today. And I still have a couple of issues to fix.

It looks like the main benefit of the upgrade is visible. The web pages are loading faster.

I am changing the format of the newsletter again. I have been using the newsletter to discuss the past. My game plan is to discuss the future and the present more then the past.

We will start doing themes of the month. August's theme is adoption facilitation.

What is an adoption facilitator? This isn't a simple answer as many people use the word differently. This job may be defined by state law or may be illegal. Adoption facilitators are different from state to state. And intercountry adoption facilitation is very different from the domestic version.

It has been 2 weeks since the last newsletter. I really am trying to do it once a week.

During the last newsletter I mentioned finding a puppy and needing to get my clothing dryer fixed.

Both issues have been dealt with... My dryer is fixed and I found the Rottweiler puppy a home. I couldn't keep the puppy because I already have dogs... and no more room for new pets.

It has been a tired week for me. Natasha and I went for a walk on Thursday. It was a beautiful summer evening up until the point that a Rottweiler puppy glommed onto us.

She was the cutest, sweetest puppy. She so badly wanted to join our pack. But I am all rescued out. I really cannot take in one more animal. And honestly I was focused on how I can get my clothing dryer fixed.

But I couldn't resist the puppy eyes of my darling Natasha or the darling puppy. So we walked for 2 hours to every nearby house. We would ring the doorbell. And when the door was answered I would ask, "Is this your puppy? Do you want a puppy?".

Unfortunately I haven’t found the puppy’s home yet. My dogs won't tolerate her and have tried to run her off. So puppy is camping out on my front pouch at this point. I have posted signs and talked to various animal rescue societies. Everyone is full and cannot take her. I have been asking everyone that I met during my day if they want a rottie puppy. Anyone want a puppy?

I have even called the local animal control. But I live in a small town and they are too busy to help right now.

Sigh...................................

But I am (finger crossed) going to get my dryer fixed on Monday.

A coworker read my horoscope to me on Friday. It said that I should change things up. While I don't believe in horoscopes, this sounded like good advise. So I am going to change a few things.
